2019 Presidency: APC national vice chairman reveals why Atiku is no longer an option


- Hilliard Eta, national vice chairman (South south) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has explained why Atiku Abubakar might not have the presidential slot
- Eta claimed that he was one of those who canvassed votes for Atiku during the last APC presidential primaries
- He, however, noted that President Buhari is the best choice for the party because has done remarkably well in keeping the promises that he made to Nigerians
Hilliard Eta, the national vice chairman (South south) of the All Progressives Congress said Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president is no longer an option for the 2019 presidential race.
Punch reports that Eta on Friday, November 17, made this known in an interview in Abuja.
The APC chieftain maintained that he was one of those who canvassed votes for Atiku during the APC presidential primaries in 2015 but that their loyalty shifted to Muhammadu Buhari after he became the party’s presidential candidate.
