Romelu Lukaku will face no action for a clash with Gaetan Borg on Saturday, after aiming a ‘petulant’ kick at the Brighton man.
The Belgian international has avoided any punishment for the incident, which occurred while a corner was being taken.
It had been alleged that the Manchester United striker had kicked out at the Cameroonian defender, with referee Neil Swarbrick seemingly missing the clash.
But after being reviewed by the appropriate bodies, Lukaku has escaped any disciplinary action and will not face a ban.
